The old house.

We had several "old houses" since we moved a lot while growing up. But this is the one where most of my good memories are from.  

Ahhhhhh....

Most people won't recognize who this is, but I sure do! I saw him in concert at Chastain Park a few years ago. This was actually the second time I saw him. I totally forgot that I was that close to him! My favorite songs by John Butler are Ocean, Mist and Peaches & Cream. But the one that I really love is Losing You. If you haven't heard any of his songs I would encourage you to do so :)

I am looking forward to my second year of doing the 5K for Guns & Hoses! Last year I ran for the Guns. This year I really want to run for the Hoses, but I like the Guns t-shirts better! Hmmmmm not sure which cause I'll register for!

What are these?

I saw these growing near a tree back in September. I totally forgot about taking these pics and ran across them this evening. I really am not sure exactly what they are but, they do tend to remind me of some type of mushroom or fungus. They appear to be somewhat fragile and translucent... just kind of different. I never have seen them before and would love to know what they are!

Emerald Isle, NC

I went to Emerald Isle, NC for a week. Spent some well need R&R doing much of nothing. The weather was nice most of the time. I had an enjoyable time!

The sunrise was an awesome site! I love to see the the sun come up and the birds were enjoying the morning sun too. The sound of the waves were so calming to me!

This was a jelly fish that I saw washed up on the shore. It is kind of sad to see...

The most amazing site to me is how different the sunset could look the next day! The kind of eye candy I love....

My Christmas Cactus

I got this Christmas Cactus from a friend a few months ago. I am so happy that it is thriving! I usually don't take care of plants to well and I am totally amazed at how good this one is doing. I love flowers and plants but either over water them or don't water them enough. It is usually to late before I realize that they are on the edge. This one is doing awesome!

Something I really want to do....

I have always wanted to experience the thrill and adrenaline rush from doing something like the zip lines! My heart races just thinking about it! One day, I will do it!

Next to the River

This is another favorite walking place I enjoy going to. It is right next to the river and has some awesome views. It's a nice to place to go on a pretty day seeking some peace and quiet. I like to call it my "thinking place".

I really enjoy seeing the sun beginning to set!

Brickmill Road

This is a really cool place tucked away in Canton on Brickmill Road. I am not sure how many people even know it exists. I have been here a few times and it has been a while since I visited so, today I decided it was a time to stop and visit this place.

I love it when the sun is about to sit and couldn't resist taking this right before leaving. Had an awesome time!

Who says there are no big fish in Lake Allatoona? Awesome catch Andrew! Maybe next time we go fishing, I'll be the one reeling the big fish in! Just glad you catch and release so someone else will have to opportunity to catch him and hopefully they will release him too :)
